Located in La Sierra de Madrid, in an area surrounded by nature, Vivienda MCND, designed by Marta González Architects and winner of the award in Architectural Design Private House, is a villa that stands out for its clean lines and avant-garde solutions. Its particular planimetric layout originates from the intersection of volumes and directions. All the indoor spaces of the house open up to the outdoors through large windows, so much so that the outdoor spaces become an extension of the indoor ones. The garden is transformed into a living room en plein air in stylistic continuity with the rest of the house and a large swimming pool in the centre makes it perfect for spending time outdoors.
The absolute protagonist of the house is the colour Bianco from the Blutech collection by Blustyle. The warm shade was chosen in the combination of tiled surfaces, Naturale and Juta, and in the sizes, 90x90, 60x60 and 30x60 cm, to cover all the outdoor floor and wall surfaces. Blutech is the collection that represents an evolution in unglazed porcelain stoneware technical tiles. The full-body colouring creates an extremely well-preserved aesthetic, in which the surface and the mixture have the same colour tone, guaranteeing a homogeneous, compact colour palette, enriched by tone-on-tone colour nuances.
